| MOVIE MAKING STEPS
Concept
“The Battle of Armageddon”! Sequel to the popular, award-winning, “A Thief in the Night” end times series.
The Script
A shooting script has been developed and refined. The story communicates on a personal level with interesting characters, on a social level as it deals with family and community issues, and on a spiritual level in the context of personal relationships with Jesus Christ as well as the events of the ‘last days’ as prophesied in the Bible.
Script Breakdown
A professional consultant has reviewed the script in terms of cast, location and special effects. Each of these elements has been analyzed for financial and creative efficiency.
Marketing Plan
A plan has been drafted based on the extensive experiences of our staff in these areas and consultations with specialist in these fields. The plan is based on a ‘window of opportunity’ approach. First a theatrical release, followed by television, the DVD, and other technologies.
Funding
“The Battle of Armageddon” can follow a two stage-funding program.
- Tax deductible donations to Mustard Seed International to enable this ministry to be a major participant in the promotion, production and distribution of the movie.
- Private placement through a limited partnership to begin production.
- Other funding sources are also to be sought.
Pre-Production
Elements of this critical process include: casting, site locations, a special effects house, studio facilities and props, transportation, technical crew and equipment, and a complete production support staff.
Production
A significant portion of the shooting of the move will be on location in Israel. Most studio shots and some outdoor locations and shots will be done in the U.S. The production phase is scheduled to take approximately three months.
Post-Production
Imagine a movie without music or one that is poorly edited and you will appreciate the importance of post-production. The writing and recording of the musical score, sound effects, the making of promotional previews, screen credits and editing the various takes all contribute to the final product.
Promotion
Promotion begins long before the first scene is shot. Promotional activities will include: press releases, interviews, brochures, publication of a book and various materials, advertising, promotion materials for theaters and retail outlets, and many other ways to increase public interest and generate revenues. This process will continue for the life of the project.
Release
Using the latest and most economical technology available when the movie is completed.
Distribution
Further release will be through DVD distribution marketing.
TV distribution will include Pay Per View, Cable, Satellite, and Broadcast TV.
We will utilize the existing Mustard Seed International overseas network
of distributors.
Other areas will include overseas missionaries, prison missions,
and ministries to the hearing impaired.
Evangelism
Since the propose of this film is to win the lost to the Lord Jesus Christ at each step of the preparation of the filming, marketing, promotional release and distribution a continuous effort will be made to enhance the evangelist impact of the finished product.
